Downloadable Desktop Wallpaper
One of the backer rewards for the Cristoforo Kickstarter project was desktop wallpapers. Here they are, in multiple themes and sizes!
As these were a reward to backer, as a courtesy to other backers, please don’t post these elsewhere or share them. I wouldn’t mind the free advertising, but the wallpaper is intended to be an exclusive backer reward!
(I built the links algorithmically. If something isn’t working, let me know and try again tomorrow, but they “ought” to be good….)
H.P. Lovecraft Horror Theme
First off, the fabulous picture is courtesy of the awesome Steve Kick. He also used this image along with Cristoforo on the cover of his H.P. Lovecraft anthology Yog-Sothothery. I picked up a copy myself for my Kindle. Yog-Sothothery includes all of Lovecraft’s writing that’s in the public domain, including poetry and essays as well as the usual fiction.
The rest of the design is by my able intern Andrea Harrison, who endured my countless requests for just one more tweak, and made the design in 17 different sizes (comprising several aspect ratios).
17 sizes available:
- 768 x 1024 (iPad 1 & 2)
- 960 x 640 (iPhone retina display)

Typographic Theme
Sorry, this one is not ready yet! We want to wait until the italic and symbol fonts are done, or at least further along. Current ETA: early 2013.
